Mental Health Support Groups

Community, Connection, and Shared Healing

At Riverview Psychotherapy, we believe that healing doesn’t have to happen in isolation. Our support groups offer a welcoming, judgment-free space where individuals facing similar life challenges can come together to share experiences, gain insight, and feel less alone.

The Power of Group Support

Support groups provide a unique opportunity to build community and connection with others who truly understand what you're going through. Facilitated by Carmel Higgins, LCSW, each group is designed to foster open dialogue, mutual respect, and shared learning.

In our groups, you can expect:

  • A safe, structured environment led by a trained therapist

  • Opportunities to share your story and listen to others

  • Compassionate peer support that reduces feelings of isolation

  • Practical coping tools and emotional insight

  • A sense of belonging during difficult life transitions

Whether you’re navigating perinatal challenges, grief, trauma, or other emotional hurdles, our support groups are grounded in empathy and guided by therapeutic best practices. Each group is intentionally curated to meet participants' needs and create a space of validation, understanding, and growth.
